GAS TURBINE

Alstom P-6561-B Natural Gas Turbine (GE-licensed Frame 6B). 8 Thomassen PSM low-emission combustion chambers retrofitted 2004. Rated at 42,150kW @ 5,163 RPM. Fired by natural gas. Turbine exhaust temperature 552C. 17-stage compressor. 3-stage power turbine.

-Fired hours: 44,409. Hours since overhaul: 400. Total starts: 370. Manual starts: 343. Fired starts: 332. Emergency Stops: 90.

GEARBOX

GT directly coupled to Flender Graffenstaden TRL65CV Reduction Gearbox. High-powered parallel drive speed reduction gearbox: 5,163 RPM to 3,000 RPM. Nominal rating 54,000kW. Directly coupled to alternator.

ALTERNATOR

Alstom T214-234 3-phase Alternator. 60,024 kVA design output. 49,160 kW continuous output @ 11,000V, 50Hz. 3,000RPM. Top mounted heat-exchanger. Air cooling station. Designed to operate in winter conditions (capacity may need to be increased for hot climates).

CONTROL SYSTEM

Alstom Speedtronic V Control System. Turbine control with turbine start, speed control, gas control. Alternator monitoring hardware/software. Microrec output voltage regulator. 3 rows voltage cabinets (TGBT). Fire Suppression Control System.
