    Alastair is our team's Lead Project Engineer with over 10 years' of plant engineering experience. He is a dynamic professional with vast experience in front end engineering; project management; mechanical and process design engineering; multi-disciplinary engineering integration and management; technical procurement and bidding; QA/QC; construction compliance and management; commissioning and performance testing. Alastair is a highly integral professional with an exceptional eye for detail.

    Senior Planner

    Kyle has worked as a Project Planner for close to a decade. Enthusiastic and professional, Kyle has had the privilege of working on various mega projects, each with their own unique challenges and achievements. This has enabled Kyle to excel in the Project Management field and has developed skills, such as Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Risk Management and logistics. Kyle is a team player and relishes the opportunity to be part of USP&E’s Mission and Vision.
  • Gerrie Botha

    EPC Construction Manager

    Gerrie has been working in the power sector and on industrial engines for over 40 years. With a hands-on approach to each project, he uses his Durban Technical College qualification and extensive experience in various roles at Barloworld CAT to strengthen USP&E’s mechanical support solutions. An avid circuit designer and controls programmer, Gerrie can also rebuild a CM32 engine by himself when required. “I believe in mentoring the next generation of engineers and technicians across Africa”, Gerrie says. He is a huge asset to each team he works with and a valuable contributor to the USP&E team.
